SUMMERSIDE, PE – The enchanting spirit of the holiday season comes alive as Summerside proudly announces the return of its annual Yuletide Village in picturesque downtown at Veterans Memorial Square Park. This magical Christmas extravaganza promises to captivate hearts and spread joy throughout the community.

Mayor Dan Kutcher expressed his excitement, stating, "Yuletide Village has become a cherished tradition in our city, bringing families and friends together in the true spirit of Christmas. This year's event promises to be bigger and brighter, fostering a sense of community that makes Summerside truly special."

The Yuletide Village, organized by the dedicated teams at Explore Summerside, Downtown Summerside and Sport Entertainment Tourism Summerside (SETS), has become a highlight of the holiday season. "Our team has worked tirelessly to curate a magical experience that will delight visitors of all ages. From festive decorations to live entertainment and holiday treats, Yuletide Village is a celebration of the warmth and joy that the season brings." shared JP Desrosiers, Director of Community Services for the city. Desrosiers further shares, "Designing and organizing Yuletide Village is a labor of love. We aim to transport visitors into a world of holiday magic, where the spirit of Christmas is tangible in every corner. This year's village promises to be a feast for the senses, with new attractions and beloved traditions blending seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience."

The Yuletide Village will feature a range of activities, including charming light displays, a Santa's Workshop for children, a holiday market showcasing local artisans, and live performances to add a touch of festive cheer. The village is set to open on December 1 directly following the Santa Claus Parade with the lighting of the city Christmas tree and will continue to spread joy each Saturday until December 16.
